Anti-Abortion Activists Hope Kacsmaryk Will Help Get Rid Of Planned Parenthood For Good

Why do we always halve to play by the rules and go to court whereas they just do?

That is why does Bidden just not order the federal troops to remove the barriers and let Texas go to court to stop him instead of the other way around?

My mother always taught me that if you can’t say something good about someone you shouldn’t say anything at all. In that vein I refuse to say that Ken Paxton is a piece of shit.

So do I.

But that is not the issue.

The issue is who gets to apply their interpretation of the rule of law. Right now, Abbott is applying his interpretation and the President is asking others for relief. It seems to me the President should be providing the interpretation of the law and it is Abbott who should be asking for relief.

Won’t these anti-choicers hurt themselves if they shut down Planned Parenthood? They won’t have a scary bogeyman to shout about.

I’d say because following the rule of law still benefits us.

Copying their tactics just means we’ll be playing on their home turf where they’ve had much more practice.

Might work in some cases. Those driving EVs will need companion items such as a faux tailpipe that blows dirty blue smoke when you hit a button on the dash. Offer a deluxe model that makes loud exhaust noise and backfires. Sell Steve Bannon masks and slob attire for those who may need to get out of the car. Those unfortunates had better have an underage girl with them for extra safety, though I’m not suggesting your business procure them – too dicey.

You should stop being so eager to give Greg Abbott what he wants.

They’ll just move on to the next scary boogeyman. That’s what they do.

I wish I could be as confident as you are. I have been part of the Planned Parenthood “team” ever since I first saw them in the late 1960’s for “women’s care” and birth control, after having a horrible old OB/GYN insert an IUD into me, which was hell for me. They gave me the first real health exam I had ever had, and fitted me for a diaphragm, which was humane and effective for birth control for the rest of my needs through to menopause. I have made yearly contributions, and have been a volunteer for them for 50 years. I have PP in my estate plan, and will make planned donations, starting when I am required to take madatory distributions, from my IRA, and then in my will.

I’d like a word with Mr. Kacsmaryk, and maybe something more. I know he cannot hear reasonable discourse. But I have a “Plan B.”

The fascist bastards are going to reap the whirlwind. And we will remember their names and crimes.

Can we get a “twofer” and get one made for Mr. Mikey ‘Kangaroo Court Legislation House’ Johnson, too?

My donation to PP that has been languishing on my desk will be in the mail tomorrow.

Jill Stein: Clinton is just as bad as Trump
<< Trump puts Gorsuch, I Like Beer, and Amy Handmaid on the SC, and Kacsmaryk on 5th Circuit; Roe overturned >>

NYT through all of this: Gore was a pussy, GWB was manly, War-monger HRC had email problems, and Donald was the Dove.

You know why I am so passionate and proactive about PP?

Because I know how important, and effective they have been, and continue to be, for the benefit of every, woman in this Country, whether they have received services there or not. And have been there for all of us in the country since 1916 (!), when Margaret Sanger and others founded it. Going strong now for 108 years!
