Anthony Fauci Isn’t Optimistic About Reopening Economy Soon

WASHINGTON (AP) — Dr. Anthony Fauci, the government’s top infectious disease expert, said Tuesday the U.S. does not yet have the critical testing and tracing procedures needed to begin reopening the nation’s economy, adding a dose of caution to increasingly optimistic projections from the White House.

We have to have something in place that is efficient and that we can rely on, and we’re not there yet,” Fauci said in an interview with The Associated Press.

Covidiot IMPeetus is getting impatient with Stay-at-Home/USC…
And he wants to reopen America for biz like last Easter Sunday…
And he wants to be king…
And he has just appointed his nepotistic family to push alternative facts…
And one of them has a trademark for…coffins!
Beware Dr. Fauci!

Addendum:

How to reopen if the Covidiot Wanna-Be-King behaves like this?

I can hear a ticking sound every time Dr. Fauci speaks with candour.

Dr. Fauci, you probably wasted your time and dignity with your walk-back “clarification” yesterday. Unless you are a consistent Trump cheerleader and willing to lie for him, you’re going to be on his out (one way or another) list.

I give credit for Dr. Fauci trying to still get factual information out, despite being pressured by Emperor Zero.

Nobody would ever wish for that job.

Question is WHEN ARE THE CDC AND FEDS GOING TO GET OFF THEIR ASSES AND GET THOSE DAMN KITS. I’m not spending the rest of this year caged in my home.

I agree, the pressure he’s feeling must be immense, between his public health responsibilities and the political bullshit. I really want him to succeed and take no schadenfreude whatsoever at the prospect at him being ground up in the ETTD gears.

Fauci is trying. He falls on is sword, throws himself under the bus, says nice things, bullshits, and lies for Trump – all to try to appease the raging malignant narcissist and try to have some bit of influence over the mad pantomime in a pandemic. And he keeps saying sensible and eagerly reported little things that I or you or anyone could have told me or you or anyone. Just like this latest.

Poor Fauci. The start of yesterday’s briefing was a doozy (they all are). As I noted on another thread, near the start of the briefing, at the end of Fauci’s first go at the podium (3:02:57 in video below) is a remarkable moment. Asked if he is “doing this voluntarily” (i.e., throwing himself under the bus for Trump), his mouth says “yes” but he shakes his head “no”. The head movement gives the honest answer. We are living in a mad pantomime in a pandemic.

If the Orange Covidiot doesn’t listen to Fauci and follow his lead, then it will only impact him harder in November. Absentee ballots will rain into clerks around the nation, and those ballots will be from extremely angry voters. That’s what you saw in Wisconsin.

There are multiple strains of the disease out there.
So let’s say for the sake of argument that Covid-19 Beta is bouncing around the states and everyone in FarmerTown gets it and beats it. So the mayor reopens the town.
2 months later, there’s a spike in cases and people who got it before now have it and it’s killing more than before. Why? Because they got infected with Covid-19 Theta that somehow got into town and some of the infected still had lung damage from Beta.

This is why we should carefully reopen things in 2 months. Otherwise, we’re all going to be witnessing Hart Island in our communities.

“Isn’t optimistic” is translated as “Is Horrified Beyond Imagination”, but Fauci won’t say it.
