Anonymous Writer Won’t Stay Hidden Forever: ‘Trump Has Not Heard The Last Of Me’

The author of an anonymous op-ed in the New York Times last year — whose piece outlined an inner “resistance” and gave fodder to President Trump’s “deep state” paranoia — doesn’t intend to remain anonymous forever.

“As far as anonymity is concerned, I will not keep my identity shrouded in secrecy forever,” anonymous wrote on Reddit Tuesday. “I am not afraid to use my own name to express concern about the current occupant of the Oval Office. Donald Trump has not heard the last of me.”

Trump reacted with furry
I was always suspected that Mr. Trump might have fur! But seriously, the “Anonymous” writer could do a lot of good by making a public statement. The writer might also achieve the hero status that he(?) seems to crave.

“When debating whether or not to ratify the new Constitution, for instance, the Founding Fathers wrote public essays about the controversial subject and disguised their names under pseudonyms. They hid their identities, not because they were scared to debate the issue openly, but because they wanted the public to focus on the message and not the messenger,” the anonymous writer wrote.

I’m not Alexander Hamilton or James Madison by any stretch, but I don’t believe they were cowards for using anonymity as a tool to refocus the debate,” they continued. “Trump thrives on distractions, and anonymity is a way to deprive him of his favorite weapon of mass distraction — personal attacks — and force the discussion to center on the substance, his character.”

Anonymous needs to grow a spine and identify themselves.

If all that is out there now about the criminal in the WH doesn’t change much, whatever this person has written is not going to change anything. We keep thinking this is the information that changes it all, rinse and repeat. There will not be one thing that changes any of this.

Nope

Example: though ‘GC3’ is seen as a hero, there’s still a certain number of Americans who believe that he and Kellyanne Conway are running a scam.

Simply, though they have regrets, anyone who voted for ‘45’ will always be seen with skepticism and suspicion by the rest of us.

It’s Jared, isn’t it?

Come on, Kellyanne, you know you want to reveal yourself, and then cackle and ride your broom off into the sunset.

Why exactly should they do so? Their name is not nearly as important as what they have seen and can report on. Trump has already called for their DEATH. What more evidence do you need than that that remaining anon is probably the best choice at this juncture?

If a person who was a senior official in the Trump Administration for years publicly states that his former (current?) boss is a corrupt, incompetent and impulsive child who cares nothing about his oath of office, I think it could make a difference.

Current conjecture is it’s Jim Mattis’s speechwriter. Name is Guy Snodgrass.
