The current Republican Party is totally Putinesque.
That will become more apparent as time goes on.

I hate to say it but this plan is absolutely legal. It is also very, very hard to accomplish and requires a massive about of work by people who don’t like working very hard. If it goes somewhere it might end the Republican party and that is a good thing.

but getting into the cartridge box is fun and the point for so many of the oath keepers.
So the warthogs will take over the zoo. It’s still a zoo and they’re still warthogs. The more they promote warthog candidates, the less popular support they’ll have and the fewer people they’ll get elected. This is probably a GOOD thing for the rest of us.

Two days ago the extremist wing of our town GOP took over the Republican Town Committee. Yahoos who fly snake flags and Trump flags on their lawns. They are highly energized.
When it comes to fascist movements I am generally in favor of that which reduces equivocation; clarification as it were.
Time to recognize the tRump faction of the GOPee, which is most of it, as a fascist party.
So many people are bewildered that there somehow, someway isn’t a faction in Russia that will find Putin’s actions so repugnant that they have a massive uprising & spontaneously take Putin out of the picture.
And yet here we are with a Republican party (muttering we can’t stand the guy … but) continuing to circle the wagons , fend off investigations, fall silent in the face of acts that are destructive to the nation… refuse to condemn when Trump Praises Putin.
It is as though Putin has put lead paint chips in our food supply for 25 years and now we are a nation of morons
So in brief: Let’s get all the bank robbers on the bank staff so we can prevent all these bank robberies!
Are you suggesting that there is more to being a precinct chairperson than simply wearing a MAGA t-shirt?
Yes, it’s one thing to openly declare you don’t like high taxes; it’s another to openly declare you don’t like high taxes, non-Christians, non-whites, non-authoritarians, and anyone not with you is the enemy.
Trump and his cohorts had already seized the GOP, they didn’t need help from the idiots like the Oath Keepers or Proud Boys.
Well there’s a shocker.
They actually have no agenda other than Trump 4-ever. So weird. It really is fascism-- “this one aging idiotic thug should rule over us and everyone else, and nothing else matters.”
Wait, I get it! They are going to steal an election in order to prevent an election from being stolen. Their logic is positively geometric.

I do not think there will be enough wing nuts available to make this precinct strategy happen.
Bannon and his ilk may be able to walk and chew gum at the same time, but the people they might influence at the precinct level, not so much. After all, there will be forms to fill out, and procedures to follow. They can’t just walk in and start stuffing ballot boxes, as much as they might like to.
