Does this poll take into account the fact that conservative fears about left wing violence are driven largely by actual acts of violence perpetrated by Proud Boys and other right wing freaks that then get pinned on BLM and Antifa.

FYI, here in my very blue state there have already been reports of voters feeling intimidated by Trump supporters driving Trump-flag-bedecked trucks around and around the parking lot of the early voting location – ignoring the no-electioneering-zone restrictions, of course.

One word…minorities. Republicans think POC are innately violent and dangerous. That’s one of the reason why they got themselves all spun up about Antifa and BLM. It’s why they’re always making excuses why it’s OK for the cops to murder unarmed Black people. It’s also part of their cognitive dissonance where liberals are both feckless and weak and also dangerous and violent.

From my daily interactions with REPUGS here in East TN I’d say you are more correct than wrong. My neighbor, I’ve mentioned this many times, believes he is safer to walk the under 100 ft to his mailbox with loaded, rounds in chambers and safties off pistol, long gun, and a shotgun. No holsters, no slings, just trying to carry all three in hands as well as open the damn box. Never fails that one hits the ground.

The problem is aggression, if not violence, worked in Bush v Gore. That is the more aggressive tactics of Republicans was influential in delaying vote counting until the Republican Supreme Court stepped in and declared Bush the winner. But for those tactics, Al Gore may have been ahead when the Supreme Court did get involved.

Therefore if the election is contested and the issue like Bush v Gore is counting or not counting votes, well aggression worked the last time.
