Alito Calls Decision Expanding LGBTQ Rights ‘Indefensible’

Justice Samuel Alito is evidentially toting around an old grudge.

At a Thursday night event at the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University, he had harsh words for the two conservative justices who joined the majority in Bostock v. Clayton County

Alito is a danger to humanity. Ditto Thomas. Ditto Kavanaugh.

They won’t be happy until we are back in the 1750’s.

If his reasoning has the same quality and historical accuracy as his Roe opinion… oh well. I just do not know how this shallow thinker managed to get his current job.

To be fair, that was only to the Senate. He was absolutely honest with the Federalist Society.

Those who say it cannot be done, should get out of the way of those that are doing it.

Alito doesn’t intend to stop at Roe. Seriously. He doesn’t.

Thomas is just about as crazy. A contorted self-hater.

What he lacks in crazy, his wife more than makes up for.

I wish I could be around in about 50 years to read what herstorians write about this period of America’s collective Brain-farts; but by then books will be banned…and so will history.

Let’s remember this is the genius that believed Citizens United wouldn’t lead to…well, what ever it has led to these days & worse somehow. What a disgraceful human being this guy is. He’s the judge Trump thought he was getting with his three nominees.

BTW. This jazz about “Textual”. When an opinion is written, it is generally in English, and supposedly written to be broadly understandable by current usage. Alito wants the language used in 1850 to be current. The fact is that that language is written, and it’s meaning is current. There is nothing that can be done about that unless Alito is smart enough to write opinions that will KNOW what the future meaning of his words will be. Even HE did not know “abortion” had a different meaning before 1850.
If you were not born in 1820, and raised in the culture, how the fuck do you know the nuances of the language other than what you learn by discussions with others TODAY?
