I know Jack-All about MN, but if I were their legislature or Governor I’d immediately cancel any trade/alliances I have with AL and tell them that MN will only deal with other states until the rescind this stupid legislation, apologize publicly to Omar and make restitution in the name of a very generous financial gift to an Islamic group or charity in their own state.
After which, they gathered for their weekly caucus lunch of deep-fried laundry starch.
“…explicitly runs counter to American values and patriotism.”
But having one of their own, one who finger-fucked teenage girls, being in the Senate is just fine. Got it!
Don’t you guys have something better to do…?
What time is it?
Yes, it’s true. The Alabama constitution is pathetic. With more than 900 amendments, it is the longest constitution in use today, and it needs to be thrown out and a new one written. That’s why, no matter what the amendment on the ballot, I vote “no.” If everyone voted every amendment down, perhaps the state would throw the goddam thing out and start over.
Just goes to show that the only state’s right that these people ever cared about was the right to own people as property.

“It doesn’t work that way, you cornpone weevils.”
If a junior senator from NY can force the resignation of a senator from Minnesota on bogus and unexamined accusations, it follows that a group of Alabaman GOP members of the house can do the same to a representative from Minnesota on equally baseless claims. If they are blondes, I reckon they have a better than 50% chance of success, especially when they can persuade Pelosi to make it a bipartisan deal.
Perhaps some sort of lending program? Kind of like the IMF. Or maybe outright purchases of state/municipal property?
