Funny.
Less funny. Prone to require a defensive, “OMG can’t you take a joke?” afterwards. Usually some time after I say, “Can’t you take a joke?”, I reconsider whom I was targeting with my joke and whether that target was often the target of jokes - or worse - due to “we” thinking “they” are different/weird/wrong. And then I try to adjust what I think is funny going forward. YMMV.
Plenty of racist, bigoted, generally mean-spirited assholes not on TPM punching down on marginal subcultures. Maybe we shouldn’t join in the fun.

Alec baldwin did it for charity – he probably made a deal in which not only was his own appearance fee donated, but Comedy Central kicked in additional funds (since its a tax write off, and they’re raking in the rating bucks anyway, CC probably is making a profit on the venture).
But there was no announcement that anyone else involved didn’t take home a check.
Sounds about right, considering how far she is up Trump’s ass.
Note this is a joke, no actual gerbils were harmed, though they may have been insulted by the comparison to Laura Ingraham.

For those of you freaking out about Furry-hate…everyone is poking fun as far as I can tell, and pretty gently for that matter. I’m old enough to remember when the Furries started showing up, and making a big deal about having sex in costume being their thing…it was really weird, which is why they have the reputation they have. It’s pretty harmless though, not to much different from all the cosplay people at conventions nowadays, who probably have sex in their costumes as well. 
If dressing up as your spirit animal is your thing, then go right ahead and have a good time.

The Furries have been around 4evah! (i learned of them when my kids were high school age. Something about adult men with a love of My Little Pony too, but that might be another convention…)
