After embracing the election conspiracy theorist and pillow magnate Mike Lindell with open arms last week, Alabama’s top elections official is scurrying to counter the false claims Lindell proceeded to make about Alabama’s 2020 elections immediately after their meeting.
Merrill’s integrity and judgment is already compromised by meeting this fool Lindell. Trying to clean it up or walk it back only enhances his bad judgment. Two fools!
“Lindell “was very impressed by our efforts and said that Alabama had the best election system and the safest procedures he had seen in America!”
That line was stated about a guy who owns a pillow factory who knows absolutely NOTHING about the election process and has no business whatever advising anybody who does.
Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill is showing his Republican colors by not understanding the optics of meeting with a crazy person. There is no “go along, to get along” in this scenario. And John however long the meeting was, and the topics covered, you still didn’t latch onto the fact that Lindell still doesn’t know how elections are run, in any state.
“If you’re wondering: Yes, that second meeting is seemingly still on: Merrill told Al.com that Lindell is expected to return to Alabama to examine election equipment and talk to probate judges.”
Lindell is like fentanyl to these people. One day it almost kills them, and the next morning they’re back to snorting it.
By Thanksgiving Lindell is going to have SCOTUS revoke Alabama’s statehood if they don’t decertify the election. It’s all in the data packets. Which, by the way, you can buy from Alex Jones in 5 gallon buckets.

Lie down with a flea, now you’re stuck with its dog.
I’m tired of reading about dumb people. Are there no smart people we could be interviewing? We could learn so much more from smart people. Smart people are more interesting than dumb people, IMO.
Alabama is so desperate to be noticed, to be fluffed on the national stage, they would lick Lindell’s feet to get that kind of acceptance. Let’s just say Alabama was not elevated by this meeting and Lindell hasn’t got any further down to go.
