And his son, too.

What’s the Over-Under on when Trump starts claiming that the judge in the Flynn case is “biased” and should be removed from the case because he is Black and thus “secretly” under the control of the Nefarious BLM Dark Shadows?

I am thinking: Two Weeks?

Question for the legal types. How is “minute order” pronounced? Is it referencing a unit of time as in “just a minute” or a measure of size “a minute amount of poison in the dissident’s tea”?

Over at Wonkette they refer to him as “Unflushable Michael Flynn”

To hell with what Judge Sullivan’s lawyer implied in the appeal hearing. He absolutely should probe the motivations behind the DOJ’s about-face on Flynn. You think the Trump Administration or Mitch McConnell would every think twice about advancing their agenda despite any earlier public statements to the contrary?

It’s pronounced Minute as in unit of an hour.

All the GOP can do is delay, delay, and delay. Maybe the Supremes will help.

Well, I believe they have already argued that the judge is biased because he hired a lawyer to represent himself before the appeals court, so taking the next step and attacking his race is probably, oh, next week sometime

Thanks! I have had many occasions to wonder that over the last four years

Nice to see some speed. With luck, more and more courts will respond quickly and decisively to Trump’s continual efforts at delay.
The true cherry on top would be for him and the administration to be declared vexatious litigants, but I’m not holding my breath. Just dreaming.

Sullivan should allow the case to be dismissed, but without prejudice. That way a Biden DOJ will have options.

Inching back towards the rule of law - pretty please?

No matter what Bill Barr, Trump, or other people say; Flynn was compromised by the Russians, with a large part of that being his outright hate for Muslims, along with seeking a pact with Russia against Islam as Neo-crusaders.

There is a big appeal in GOP ultra-right-wing circles for a pact with Russia as the only other predominantly “Christian” country, as Europe and NATO are seen by these people as insufficiently prepared for unending war.

A big Neo-crusader is Eric Prince who had a meeting with Kirill Dmitriev, the head of Russia’s sovereign wealth fund, in the Seychelles on January 11, 2017, on Trump’s behalf.

Lock them all up!

It’s a minute order – as when someone takes minutes at a meeting or proceeding.

In this case that someone is the clerk of the court.
