“If you poll the senators, nine out of 10 will tell you they have not read the transcript of the House hearings and the 10th is lying to you.”

Senator John Kennedy, Republican of Cracker Barrel.

We didn’t read it then, and we don’t want to hear about it now.

Damning

The President is stonewalling and his Senate accomplices are backing him up. They’re supposed to be jurors but they want to help him keep the proof secret. There’s really nothing else to say.

This is how to do it: make clear that it is the Senate Republican caucus which is on trial and act accordingly.

@joshkosensky If you’re reading this, let’s not end an arduous and shameful day due to R conduct with commentary from traitors from that party.

@jrw Nor did any read any of the reports put out after 9/11 describing the who and how of the tragedy.

Spineless pricks. All of them. By all accounts Schiff is making them uncomfortable by laying out an airtight case for why Trump should be removed now! And all they seem capable of doing is putting their hands over their ears and going,”Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah!” It’s enough to make me physically ill.

…Cruz went on to suggest that it’s “critical” for Hunter Biden to testify in the case. Some senators, like Barrasso, have suggested that Biden’s testimony could be offered up as a “trade” for the testimony of former National Security Adviser John Bolton.

Yah…Hunter is critical to this matter…

Then so is Stormy Daniels jackazz.

In the age of twitter, it must be hell for the twits to have to sit still and listen to real people talk. And talk. And talk.

You know there is a 12-step program for people who talk too much:
On And On Anon.

Why does Ted Cruz think looking like a producer of 70s porno is a thing? Next up, T-Top TransAm and a lip dangling Cheroot? Mud Wrestling junkets, Republicans only? Overly frequent bathroom breaks with a lot of sniffing when returning to his chair?

“What we’ve seen is a rehashing of yesterday’s charade,” he said.

Well, where have I heard that before?

If they are tired of hearing the same thing, then call witnesses and demand to see documents. Inject some new information into the process. If Bolton was the patriot he thinks he is, he could speak up tonight. He apparently loves his book contract more than he loves his country. I hope no one buys it.

By this time, even if Republicans are half listening, it is obvious that Trump is guilty. Let us never forget their names.

  1. This trial is a Midnight Mitch Turtle Court – It would be laughable, if it wasn’t such another example of obstruction of justice. That said –
  2. Senators who behave like sophomores in high school should be treated like them. Passing notes, whispering to each other, reading and working during the sessions, walking out of the session to go tweet and give interviews, throwing spitballs. Now, this is not ALL the Senators. But, really. Where is the mighty master of decorum (CJ Roberts, and why isn’t he calling out this behavior?

Well if you already know how you’re gonna vote, there’s no need to listen, is there?
They are, each and every one, violating their oath to be impartial jurors in the Senate trial. And they have no shame in doing so.

Roberts is too busy being impartial to notice.

while the repub senators complain, americans are home from work and have turned on the tv to catch some of the hearings, and they are getting an earful they haven’t heard before, and it is damning

Just like RandWeasel PaulQuisling, “Bazooka Ted” Cruz never fails to surpass all previous high water marks for how contemptible a U. S. Senator can be.

alternative fact:

did you know that there was a vote last night to modify the Trumpian Pledge of Allegiance to now read: “and justice for you all”

They thought this would be painless. They were wrong.
