Guarantee: when it’s seen how badly Acosta’s arrogance plays in the public media, Trump will fire him.

Doesn’t help that Acosta looks like the guy who shows up on your front doorstep to inform you that he’s moving in a couple doors down and happens to be on a registry…

Well, what do you expect? The executive branch of the US government is now a criminal enterprise.

He was brought in to make sure that it was sealed up tight, so nobody else would be fingered on this. Also it would stop the investigation in it’s track

Nice knowin’ ya, Acosta.

From what I saw of this presser, I did not think this was a good performance and I do think it reminds female voters in particular what they dislike about Trump. I think this hurts Trump b/c this was a jarring display of arrogance and misogyny. He pretty much admitted that the powerful wealthy men get to do what they want with women. I think that hurts Trump.

Yeah, Trump will just write it off as Acosta doing business…

However, if Acosta had been remorseful and apologetic, Trump would have fired him as well, Trump likes Kavanaughs…

“It’s important to realize that people were getting away with these [crimes]. People were not going to jail at all,” Acosta said. “And we’re aware of those high-profile cases. And we’ve seen, as victims come forward, how the justice system deals with them. And so the message to victims is ‘Come forward.’”

Yes, his message is very clear - don’t come forward. . . . People were not going to jail at all,” Acosta said. “And we’re aware of those high-profile cases. And we’ve seen, as victims come forward, how the justice system deals with . . . (victims)

WTF is with the “apology” question? It’s so weak. Aren’t these reporters ready with the right questions, the kind of question that would make Acosta squirm or stumble?

And by the way, when is Nancy gonna be ready for that ‘inquiry’ thing? Does she needs pictures or video? Trump is impeachable simply by the company he keeps. This is beyond ridiculous. And apparently nobody (maybe Congress) “has standing” concerning the Emoluments issue. And when the Mueller 'interview next week goes out with a whimper, what then, more ‘interviews’?

The executive Branch of the US Government is now a Republican criminal enterprise.

This cannot be over-emphasized.

The buck stops…with his former prosecution team.

Acosta is dead meat no matter what he does now. All he can do to partially save his reputation is to tell who told him to stay away and who was the Epstein “guest” they were protecting (Jeb Bush maybe?). No if Acosta also went to the parties…

Yep, Benghazi-style who gave the order to “stand down” ?

This is total bullshit. Read this piece in the Miami Herald. Its not only that he got a short sentence. The FBI was blocked from investigating co-conspirators (Donald), the victims by law should have been notified of the deal Epstein was given and allowed to make their own statements, that didn’t happen. The whole thing appears to be a coverup.

The Republican party has turned the Executive Branch of the US Government into a criminal enterprise and they’re putting the finishing touches on making the Judicial Branch a co-conspirator.
