Abbott also referred to the suspected gunman as someone “who is in the country illegally” when announcing a reward for information leading to his capture.

Frankly, I’m surprised that “Hotwheels” Abbott didn’t celebrate the killings, if he really thought the unfortunate victims were “illegal” immigrants. He’d have gotten more support from his “base”. (And getting “baser” every day…)

So Liberty County Texas with 1176 sq miles and 7471 in population is comparable to 25,000 sq miles and a population on the reservation of 173,000 that the Navajo Tribal Police have to serve?

Can we all refrain from using the words “hot wheels” when referring to Governor Abbott? There are plenty of reasons to dislike Abbott’s words, politics, and governance. Let’s criticize him for those things, and not for his disability.

I usually do not use the term, but when the good governor others and diminishes five murder victims by incorrectly describing them as “illegal immigrants”, he makes himself eligible for similar shots. All’s fair in love and politics.

Yep. The results from the last election out of Uvalde is proof of that. And besides, calling them “illegals” removes all blame from guns, lack of gun policies, the Rs and Qs in their state government, himself and anyone else who worships guns. It puts the blame on the Feds for not closing the boarders. He knows what he’s doing and Texans love it by an overwhelming majority.

Abbott got a huge cash settlement after his injury—and as soon as he could, got a law passed so other people in similar circumstances couldn’t get what he got.
He not only deserves such nicknames, he begs for them.

thank you very much for saying that ! there’s hardly a shortage of nasty attributes and behavior from Abbott, to latch onto when assessing this. he’s eager to show us what a nasty person he is, on THE INSIDE. making fun of the chair, even indirectly, is not helpful at best. at worst its pretty dang mean about having to use a chair (which, by the way, could be any one of us at any time).
we can spank the shit out of Abbott without talking about his chair. I lived in TX for awhile, ugh.
