As a proud grandpa whose grandchildren have never known anything besides Trump and Biden, your post made my eyes moist. When my first grandchild was born Obama was our president and the world was a completely different place. I have gone from the greatest heights to the deepest depths in my feelings for my country during his short life and those feelings are both profound and fraught, often at the same time.
I wish nothing but great things for your new grandchild.

Meanwhile, Trump desperately tried spinning the event as a “tremendous success,” bizarrely bragging to reporters that it didn’t rain—despite the weather being a reality.

I’ve used cider vinegar (the cheap stuff is fine and plain vinegar would probably also work) - 1/4 cup in a pan of warm water; soak feet for 20-30 minutes daily until nails grow out. This takes a while, but is cheap and worked for me. I think the acid kills the fungus.
