Months before voters went to the polls in November, a group of election skeptics based in North Carolina gathered on a call and discussed what actions…
The data was missing not because voters had done something wrong but largely as a result of an administrative error by the state.
… … … … …
If the state prints a ballot missing a slot for the voter to fill in information it’s not the voter’s fault.
It’s a very simple political theory, really.
The people who voted for me are “real Americans.”
The people who didn’t are highly suspect, could be communists or illegals or antifa.
Therefore the people who voted against me are enemy combatants.
Their votes shouldn’t count.
Not sure why everyone can’t understand that.
Personally, I see nothing wrong with questioning votes or vote counts. However, if it turns out that the basis for questioning was groundless, the party or parties doing the questioning should be assessed the full cost of the work necessary to answer the complaint. Additionally, if the issue is deemed to actually be vote suppression, then the complaining party should be referred to the state attorney general for possible prosecution for voter suppression.
Not mentioned: The avalanche of money it takes to fight all these battles, mount all the challenges, found all these ‘chapters’ and book all their meetings, gas money, coffee money, phone money, lights, adverts, haircuts, etc.
The rich are winning because every step of the way takes money, and all the bad faith in America is plastered in green. Nobody ever questions the money. You’re getting the dumb fuck president the money bought.
That’s because the Roberts Court said the avalanche of money is freedom of speech and unquestionably protected by the 1st Amendment. To rule otherwise would undermine the doctrine of “one dollar, one vote” that lays the foundation for the democratic republic envisioned by the founders.
“I think Carol has shown a way of really harassing — not that we want to do it for harassment purposes —
In GOP world, harassment is simply collateral damage, an unforeseeable consequence of their intentional harassment.
THIS^^^^. Citizen’s United was a garrote created by billionaires to squeeze the air out of the power of the vote of people that they frown down upon from their golden towers.
They’ve reached the unhinged part of a election monkey business. Not only is their door unhinged, it has made it’s way to a roaring river, and about to go over the falls.
Hell I’m so old that I can’t even remember how I got registered to vote. That was in 1980. I have never ever even wondered if I should check my voter registration to make sure all the “Ts” are crossed and “Is” dotted .
So have the “opposition” folks checked their own voter registration? Just to make sure that it’s up to date? It sounds like what they want to use an excuse to unregister some folks are older voters that registered pre-computer days.
The inauguration is coming. Millions of dollars have been contributed to “donnie’s Coronation Fund”. I’d like to know what the hell is all of that cash used for if not straight up bribes to himself as “king”. Ribbons and bunting do not cost tens of millions of dollars.
They do if you bill them through Melania’s friend or any other crook who is administration adjacent.
Flat out bribery
I registered as a 19 yr old in 1968 at our County Recorder’s office as a “no party preference”. Reregistered as a democrat in 2016 at the same office. But the building had been rebuilt if I recall correctly.
Nope. This is post-election, so it’s simply a reward for a job well done. But then there are those of us who are cynical enough to think of it as payment of protection money.
Oh I’m more than cynical about donald and his greed
The Republican Party is headquarters for the biggest bunch of sore losers in the country, bar none.
Super Jesus told them everything was going to turn out all white!
NC Republicans, like their national counterparts, only break the party line over personal grievances. If Griffin gets shot down at the state supreme court, it will be because that he doesn’t courtesy flush or didn’t toss out a hostile workplace suit against a car dealership.

This is Republican Rule #2 at work : “If you can’t win fairly, cheat.”
GOP Rule #1 is: “When the truth just won’t do, lie.”
