More than a month after pleading guilty to lining his pockets with campaign dollars, Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA) still represents more than 700,000 Californians in Washington, D.C.
I wasn’t gonna read the article. I was just gonna go with the headline on this one because it seems obvious that he’s hanging around for the money (nothing else seems to matter much to this asshole anyway). Then I read the article because its one of those short ones, and boom, there it is:
The AP pointed out that members of Congress receive a paycheck on the first day of every month; Hunter presumably pocketed a new check at the start of the new year.
I got BINGO! What do I win?
If you ask me, (and no one is) he should just be kicked out now. The reasons are obvious and no explanation is necessary because he already confessed. The End.
Especially when you have exactly Nothing to fall back on. He’s absolutely without any credible skills or prospects. Too old to go back in the military and has no other way to make a buck. Had he quit a long time ago he might have gotten a lobbying gig but not now.
Well then I bet there is some Congressional procedural option to start withholding his paychecks until such time as he has served his court appointed punishment or he names the date of his leaving. Gotta start to get serious with the affluenza white males.
