A presidential term is referred to as an administration because the executive branch is supposed to administer the laws and affairs of the country, not rule unilaterally. This administration and its enablers think it’s they have an authoritarian presidential regime going, and a lot of the country is totally comfortable with that. We’re going to have to remake our fundamental notions of democracy and power after Shitler leaves, and get away from the idea of an all-powerful president that has developed over the last few decades.
