SURF’S UP, DUDE!!!

Seriously, I’ve lived through a hurricane, and I do NOT want to repeat that experience. If you’re in the path of this monster, get to high sturdy shelter.

Trump: Hurricane Laura is a Democratic Hoax to distract from my very successful and highly rated Convention
Highest ratings ever in the History of Conventions

He will complain

Houston-metro has dodged a bullet at this juncture barring a major shift of Laura to the west today.

The east side of Houston will see some moderate winds and storm surge (3-5ft) near coastal areas.
Just 50-90 miles further east on I-10 will be catastrophic winds over 110mph at landfall around 2am on Thursday-- with storm surges of 6-9ft. Out around the Texas-Louisiana border at the Sabine River things begin to get really bad. From that point on to south of Baton Rouge storm surges of 10-15ft are possible.

From tomorrow mid-day until Monday-- the remnants of Laura will track through AR, KY, TN, WV, NC, VA-- then affecting points all upward through the Eastern seaboard. 30-40 mph winds attendant.

ETA: Storm surges along the Louisiana coast now projected to be 20-feet in places. Imagine a 20-foot high slow-moving inland tsunami.

Is this a National Weather Service forecast? Or a Sharpie one?

One where I know families who are evacuating.

Thanks, nature, but we’re already loaded up on ways for Trump to demonstrate his impotence at managing a federal response.

How many of these potential victims will treat this the same way they’ve treated CV-19?

Every storm has those that will ‘ride it out because it’s being over-hyped’. Wanna bet it happens again, despite all the warnings?

Aimed straight for the ass-crack of the Gulf Coast.

God isn’t pleased that people are still supporting Trump in red states, clearly.

It’s the latest Deep State plot to undermine his presidency. The evil GALAXY organization (it’s bigger than SPECTRE) blackmails Earth with a weather control machine able to produce all sorts of natural disasters.

No worry, Trump is on this, just like Bush was with Rita. Any bets he will be whining about Laura distracting from HIS convention? I thought so.

Red counties. The color of one of those states is still very much at issue.

True. I haven’t mapped it this year, but the last time big fires were in California, noted that it hit worst in their red districts.

Yeah, those rural GOPers do a shit job of sweeping the forests.

Aren’t you glad Trump moved all that FEMA money to pay for his executive orders

Congress will soon have to pass an emergency hurricane relief package because Trump emptied the cupboards.

Lets see if the TX fiscal hawks that never want to support relief for others will be changing their tune
