Authoritarianism is a powerful drug…which lures whites and non-whites, of any sex. There is something about group identity and wanting to be on the “winning team”.
That is why the actions of the mid-20thCentury Civil Rights fighters, who are responsible for people like Clarence Thomas being able to buy a fucking hamburger INDOORS were so heroic, their only “winning team” was being cognizant of their own courage…

Case in the UK a couple of years ago; turned out someone had used poorly-protected wifi to download child porn, so it showed up on the search history but had never been on the owners’ devices. They were eventually able to clear themselves.
