On the heels of her ouster as the No. 3 Republican and House Republicans continuing to downplay the violence of the deadly Capitol insurrection during a hearing last week, Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) on Sunday stood by her vehement criticism of former President Trump as well as Republicans who still egg on his election fraud falsehoods well after he left office.
Apparently, the Democratic electorate doesn’t believe the social contract empowers them to menace and execute elected officials who take stances they disagree with.
They say something about expressing disagreement at the ballot box, if you can believe it.
Trump went after the wrong woman when he picked a fight with Liz Cheney. She isn’t going away. The Republican men might be afraid of him but this woman is standing up and will be heard.
Gee, I and just about everybody else on this site was saying Trump was a danger to democracy even before he got elected. And after he was installed in the White House Li’l Liz, daughter of Darth Baby Eater, still voted with Fat Ass about 99% of the time, even when he was screaming months before the election about how if he didn’t win it was due to voter fraud and other dire machinations. I also believe Trump is a danger to democracy. But then again, so is Liz Cheney.
