Yeah, get out of the stock market and put your money in the safest place possible while you still can. Trump isn’t just coming after the Fed. He’s working very hard at unraveling our entire economy, and he’ll probably succeed since he has time and his attacks are far more organized than they were in his last term. My guess is that the damage he’ll do this time will make 2008 look trivial by comparison.

#7 the deficit is about 25% of total government spending, which was “fine” mostly in a period of economic growth, but now that the country is run by TSF’s lizard brain stem, cycling between “vengeance” and “greed” at irregular intervals, the economy will crash.
I don’t think the Fed will cut rates today, FWIW. Inflation is creeping up.

Papers she signed affirming that this second mortgage was for a “VACATION HOME” have now come to light, mooting his lawsuit no doubt. Apparently Fulte, the housing guy who is going after others on this, has parents who did the mortgage fraud thing.

We are headed towards stagflation. People are too damned stupid to realize that the post-pandemic inflation was a world-wide phenomenon. What’s more, we didn’t have it as badly as some other countries did.
Now inflation is coming down in other developed nations, but we’re going to get stagflation because DonOLD Drumpf insists on starting a trade war, shooting the economy, and the Republicans are going to allow him to do it.

The Times has one job right now. Report the fact that a butt hurt Trump has filed yet another totally baseless and frivolous lawsuit for an amount that beggars belief. They should also add that the defendant is eagerly awaiting discovery in this case, which will form the factual basis of breaking news published by the defendant in the near future.

I wonder if there will be a stunt to send the U.S. Marshalls to the fed to block or remove her from the upcoming meeting. It would not surprise me.
