The President and senior administration officials — including multiple attorneys general — repeatedly meddled in a federal investigation into the state-owned Turkish bank Halkbank, the New York Times reported Thursday.

Hopefully, when convicted by the Turkish Courts, Fat Nixon will be "Midnight Expressed?"

Loans coming due, criminal charges looming when he leaves office, civil law suits to deal with, etc.

What’s a fucking fat orange phony to do when he loses his presidential protections?

I think Trump has much more to worry about than domestic indictments / prosecutions if he loses the upcoming election. My thoughts are based upon my assumption that Trump is a huge threat to foreign actors if he is no longer president, and faces being put on the ‘hot seat’ in the US judicial system. He just might be invited to a party by, and for fellow ‘strongmen’ at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul. I bet a buffet there would be, ahem, killer.

So now we know some of what erdogan got for letting the khashoggi murder go.

There’s also the minor matter of ISIS oil being shipped out of syria via tanker trucks to turkey. Then putin retaliated for turkey’s shooting down one of russia’s fighters: he had every tanker truck headed northbound out of syria blown up. WE could have done that at any time, if we were serious about cutting off ISIS’ funding. Why didn’t we?

The New York Times is doing its very own get out the vote effort. It’s great stuff. Gives me hope about the future of investigative journalism.

And there’s no need to be gentle about it, either.

I’m confused…

Did the missing five hundred billion that tRump and Mnuchie stole from the CARES act go to the bank in China or this one in Turkey?

What other banks are there that we do not know about?

tRump was worried that the resulting smoke would pollute the locals air

So, bottom line: will the House conduct an investigation, or what?

I read this in the Times this morning. I was shocked to find out Erdogan was using Benedict Donald to try to get SDNY to back off his nest egg. Totally shocked!

“The Justice Department’s current policy against indicting Presidents only applies when they’re in office.”

Looking forward to Donald’s post-election perp walk.

And Ivanka’s, Jared’s, Pompeo’s, Mnuchin’s, Giuliani’s, Whitaker’s…

(It’s gonna be a regular “Perp Parade”!)

Whitaker reportedly wanted the case shut down entirely. Why? Per the Times: “Mr. Whitaker cited concern that charges against the bank might result in a threat to U.S. forces in Syria.” Prosecutors didn’t buy that.

MAGA in action! Trump has Made America Great Again, which is why we fear for the safety of our troops against a second-tier power who is nominally our ally.

So much winning.

Aw, man, did you have to? I had completely forgotten about Matt “Big Toilets” Whitaker, the dumbest person ever to serve as AG, and I use the word “serve” loosely. But you are right. He should be jailed for wire fraud, quite aside from whatever he did in the Trump WH.

We can rename the federal prison in Leavenworth to tRump National Prison. Put a youuuuge red T on the guard shack at the entrance.

Orange is the new tRump.
