There are some who tout the “Unitary Executive” theory as constitutional and valid. I call it unconstitutional and authoritarian.

entirely rhetorical question – What right does this criminal ass – and the Republican party that’s still constantly kissing the ass’s ass – imagine he has to seek the protection of U.S. laws and the Constitution when he’s spending every infantile, money-grubbing day spitting and shitting all over both those things.
I uuppose it’s the Heritage demons who laid out this path for him: the total autocratic takeover without the initial use of tanks, or some such…But the vision of this tacky carnival-barker real-estate salesman being the one to carry it out is just so degrading to this country. I know we deserve that, but I’d like to be able to keep a little shred of dignity on my way to the grave. But increasingly I think that’s unlikely.

An estimated 32.6 million people watched President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address this week, down four million from his speech to Congress last year and the smallest audience he’s ever gotten for the annual message.
The Nielsen company said that his speech — the longest televised State of the Union address by any president, was seen on 15 different television networks.
