I’m sort of invested in trying to figure out OK’s State Board of Ed Ryan Walter’s next career move. He seems to like being a one man wrecking ball that tends to not accomplish what he wants accomplished.

It’s clear he has no conception of how much land Canada constitutes. Making Canada into one single state would be absurd on so many logistical levels, even if people were so inclined to go along with the “plan.”
I think he’s probably glommed onto the idea of going down in history as the President who added a new state since the last time that happened has almost passed out of living memory. So if some enterprising group from a US territory wanted to move themselves toward statehood, maybe they could make an impassioned pitch and drag his attention off of Canada. Though Puerto Rico and WDC probably have a couple extra hurdles to overcome due to his virulent racism and pigheadedness.
