I shudder to think of the degree of lawlessness we will learn about (assuming we are allowed to find out) this “administration” and the Republican Party engaged in once Trump is gone.

The fact that this is a good thing tells us about who we are up against.

The Kavanaugh Confirmation was a joke, because Trump corrupted the FBI pre-vote Investigation on him, and the chickens are coming home to Roost.

This topic needs to be at the front of the Dem campaign, along with all the mis- and malfeasance of the current administration. I need someone to run that will push back on the whataboutism against Bill and Joe and point out that the whole damned Republican Party is nothing but a bunch of sexual deviants that should never hold the keys of power and diminish half the nation’s population with their deviance.

Who is strong enough to do that and make it stick every damned day of the campaign?

Kavanaugh is going to be one more chain around the ankles of the GOP as they drown in the maelstrom.

Somewhere, from an undisclosed location in Maine, an unnamed US senator is said to be “concerned” and perhaps even “disappointed.”

Only if the issue is front and center as an issue in the general campaign.

With multiple women candidates?

I’m thinking it will be.

It boggles the mind. It will take years of investigation and a great deal of money which we’ll hear about immediately.

She recently reiterated her support for him. I hope they hang this so hard around her scrawny neck.

Only if they get the nomination. If Joe is the nom, I am not so sure we can run on it as easily.

Republicans could have picked literally anyone the Federalist Society approved of. Anyone. Because people with Kavanaugh’s views are a dime-a-dozen on the right. But for whatever reason, they had to have Kavanaugh. And then, had to double down once those appalling allegations began surfacing.

It would be incredibly sweet if he gets kicked off after the next election, only to be replaced by the selection of a Democratic President. That would be even sweeter than having McConnell lose his seat.

If the House investigates these allegations, they could just call the witnesses, yes? Several days of testimony. Would Kav actually say anything?

While Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) didn’t explicitly endorse impeachment, he did say he supported “any appropriate constitutional mechanism to hold [Kavanaugh] accountable.”

dont ever change, Bernie, don’t ever change.

Oooh maybe we could all see him spit and snarl and sob again.

Indeed! Although those poor women would have to undergo Jordan and Meadows …

Yeah that is a real ugly downside.

Please don’t kill me, but whether it’s Amy McGrath or (presumably) Matt Jones, I’m great with Kavanaugh and McConnell leaving the scene.

I wonder if Kavanaugh would actually say anything from his current “position.” I guess the Moron would just tweet for him. John Roberts would not be happy. hahahahah

If the Republicans lose power, watch how many people vanish into seeming obscurity. It will be an exodus.
