20 States To Sue DeJoy And USPS Over Controversial Agency Restructuring

No wonder he was so willing to put everything on hold…

Suspending the changes isn’t enough.

Restore.
It.
All.

Every last piece of equipment, every last change in policy.

Restore.
It.
All.

It might save you from a prison sentence next year for interfering with the mail.

You know, as soon as I saw “20 states” I asked myself how many states have Democratic governors. I’m glad to see that this many have Dem attorneys general who are gearing up to kick ass and take names.

What happened to those 30 states?
They ok not getting mail, medicines, SS checks?

I’d’ve appreciated some listing of those participating, not only to answer your question, but that so the citizens of the other 30 States can ask that question of their governors.

Get an injunction that includes him reporting under oath to the court the corrective actions he’s taken and the right to inspect those alleged actions so he can’t make false promises.

He was willing to put it on hold because he got done what he wanted. He can continue the behind the scenes crap because he’s suspended the out in the open part. He knows it’s over for him if Trump loses.

20 States To Sue DeJoy And USPS Over Controversial Agency Restructuring

Note to DeJoy regarding his effort to stop destroying the USPS an insure handling of mail voting.

I think that train has left the station. First the lawsuits and then the tar and feathers.

It’s good this is turning on them…and, this is a grass roots thing, it’s not some PAC or shadow figure driving people to protest USPS changes. It’s people, the same as BLM protests, and it’s going to make a difference in November…the more people see how the Trump administration is doing things that hurt Americans, and the more people who rise up against it, the less chance that Trump wins again.

This is also good for after the election, as an engaged population is going to lead to a better nation, one that is more inclusive and caring. The white supremacists will be steamrolled by that oncoming America, and they know it which is why they are fighting to hard to avoid a future where they lose influence. We need to keep the pressure on until November, and then January, to make sure they aren’t able to sabotage things so much that nothing can get done after Biden takes over.

So did his pang of conscious have anything to do with four of the swing states joining this action?

Sue this bastard anyway! It does not matter that he put USPS changes on hold. he needs the legal lesson shoved down his throat. What was happening at USPS was unConstitutional and trump ordered. And consequences need to be imposed!
specifically:

18 U.S. Code § 1703. Delay or destruction of mail or newspapers

Whoever, being a Postal Service officer or employee, unlawfully secretes, destroys, detains, delays, or opens any letter, postal card, package, bag, or mail entrusted to him or which shall come into his possession, and which was intended to be conveyed by mail, or carried or delivered by any carrier or other employee of the Postal Service, or forwarded through or delivered from any post office or station thereof established by authority of the Postmaster General or the Postal Service, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.
… … …
DeJoy needs a lesson. Sue that man. Do not walk away because he conceded until after the election. That’s bullshit.
Sue his ass.

I hope these charges don’t become moot now.

Well they haven’t yet, since we don’t know yet how much damage was done, and what the plan is to restore that damage. We need the hearings to find that out. If I were those state AGs I’d be continuing plans for the lawsuit until it’s proven that the charges are moot.

1st thought for the hold… but think exactly what good does a hold do, it does not reinstall the machines, it does not change the overtime rules, it does not do a damn thing to even return to the prior state.
