Seven days to go. If you like countdowns, that’s T minus 7 and counting.
It’s been a marathon, but we’re in the kick stage now.
I know I’m preaching to the choir.
Pedal to the metal.
Sprint through the finish. GOTV. Please.
T minus 7 and counting…

Where are all the Democrats and former Democrats endorsing Trump?

O yeah never mind.

It’s too bad the US Attorneys didn’t also mention that Cockholster is a career criminal.

They are not heroes. They’ve been silent too long.

I’m not surprised (and pleased as well) to see Thomas Heffelfinger on that list. A moderate Republican, he resigned as U.S. Atty in MN in 2006 in the face of being on the infamous list of the GWB purge. It was thought he was too concerned about Native American voters’ rights.

I just wish they still had the power to indict…

You mean waiting for the all important Holy Joe Lieberman endorsement.
I really like the Cindy McCain endorsement ad. It shows heart, it’s decent and to the point plus could pull over swing and marginal voters.

The more he’s condemned, the more his base gets enraged and motivated. The good thing is, there are far more normal people than there are Trump freaks. But this is like a red cape in front of a bull.

There’s really something wrong with all of them. In some cases it’s just money and they’d vote for the devil if he’d be preferential to the rich and their hatred of taxes, and depending on how you look at it they’re either the best or the worst of this deplorable lot. But with the ones who are simply filled with intractable insane hatred and anger, I expect the best we can hope for is the virus cleaning a large number of them out over the winter.

C’mon, give him some credit. The Taliban and Bin Laden’s niece endorse him.

He’s stupid like them and yet he made money.

Even though he didn’t.

I agree that it’s not necessary to think of them as heroes.

But it took some effort to organize them – along with other Republicans who are now endorsing Democrats.

What we need them to be is persuaders, not necessarily heroes. And if the following persuades anyone, the effort will have been worth it.

“Unlike the current president, Joe Biden and his Justice Department will make every effort to unite law enforcement and the nation in the pursuit of justice – to defend the rule of law, to serve and protect all Americans, and to build a criminal justice system that provides equal justice under the law,” the group asserted.

And if you were to say that it’s not clear how many voters will be moved our way by this sort of thing, I’d have to agree also.

Yeah, but only by lying, cheating, stealing, and it seems, committing treason. Trump is far too lazy to work for the money he thinks he made.

Might add that while it is true that Willaim H Webster did work as US Attorney in Missouri in 1960’s he is rather better known for later working as a federal judge, Director of first FBI and then CIA and until this year the chair of Homeland Security Advisory Council.

This will no doubt persuade some people. And it is unlikely to move a single person in the other direction. At the end of the day, though, that isn’t likely what is going to win this election. It is getting the people who failed to vote in 2016 (or threw their votes away to the Jill Steins of the world) out to vote. it will help…but it is the GOTV that will win the day.
