Discussion: Trump Rejects Criticism He Waited Too Long To Condemn White Supremacists

President Trump: “What about the alt-left that came charging at, as you say, the alt-right?… Do they have any problem? I think they do.” pic.twitter.com/sL3kfy4L67

Trump has a point. Just look at the damage Heather Heyer caused to James Fields' car.

After denouncing Washington as a slave owner, he hammered on Thomas Jefferson too.

But there is a difference between George Washington and Robert E Lee. One was the Father of our Nation, the other was a traitor who tried to destroy our Nation.

“I wanted to make sure, unlike most politicians, that what I said was correct, not make a quick statement. "

I only immediately tweet when there is something that looks like Islamic terrorism, you know like someone in a van mowing down people in London…or France…THEN I make a quick statement. Not when it involves white nationalists who love me…"

If only there had been ample evidence that he was a malignant, deranged, depraved, mentally-challenged, thin-skinned, low-IQ, skin sack of sewage during the campaign.

If only!

So at one point he said that he wanted to have all the facts before making a full statement. Then he said once he had the facts, he made the second strong statement. Then he said we still don’t have all the facts.

My brain hurts.

Donald Trump is history’s greatest gift to Warren Harding, Richard Nixon, and George W. Bush. They no longer have to worry about being regarded as “American’s Worst President” by future historians.

‘Not All’ Protesters In Charlottesville Were White Supremacists

Correct. There were a ton of people protesting against the white supremacists. And one of your Nazi/KKK shitheads ran them over with a car.

"[But] you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists, okay?” [Trump] added.

What’s with the “okay”? Is he requesting approval, or just being low-class?

The answer to my own question: yes.

For someone who says, “. . .I wanted to make sure, unlike most politicians, that what I said was correct, not make a quick statement,” Trump sure demonstrated that he has got everything WRONG!

And until he comes out and condemns the individuals behind the travesties in Charlottesville and since, and specificly names and condemns David Duke, Richard Spencer, Milo Yiannopoulos, Jason Kessler and the entire leadership of the neo-NAZI, White Supremacists, and Racist fringe groups, Trump will continue to show how unfit he is to be "president"

What a stupid, self-indulgent, hypocritical shumck we now have in the White House! And advisors like Bannon, Miller, and Gorka are even worse. They all have to go!

I’m surprised he didn’t pick up a folding chair and do a WWF number on a journo.

Most Trump rallies were indistinguishable from WWF events to begin with. Your average dead-end Trumper has the intellectual capability of your average WWF attendee. Ill-informed sad sacks who have great trouble discerning the difference between fantasy and reality, and therefore extremely easy to con.

The Republican party is getting a second chance to make a united statement denouncing these hate groups. It should be interesting to see what they do. Not holding my breath.

At least we now know that trump owns the largest winery in America. I think we could all use a bottle after his rant. It was like a Mamet monologue without the f-bombs.

Wow. He is furious.

If we keep the pressure on him and the media does he may just blow up entirely before the end of the month.

I’ll bite. What percentage of neo-Nazis are acceptable for Trump?

I’d argue that an American and a president should say 0%.
