Discussion: HHS Expands 360-Bed Immigrant Children Tent Shelter To 3,600 Beds

Those previous family separations “are not driving this need,” Wolfe said.

“This need is driven by our plans for future family separations.”

In what way is this different from a concentration camp? It is most surely NOT a child care facility. It more closely resembles a children’s prison along the lines of Joe Arpaio’s tent “jail” in Maricopa County.

This is absolutely shameless, and as Americans we should all be ashamed for allowing this to happen.

The Trump government is well on its way to becoming the most reviled presidency in American History.

If you didn’t read this, blink at the facial illogic of the agency platitudes and get a sick, terrible sense of foreboding in your gut like snakes and scorpions are crawling through it, you haven’t been paying fucking attention.

They’ve got another little plan, oh yes they do. Now that our outrage over the separation policy has become the new normal erasing and normalizing the prior outrages, they’re getting ready to escalate the level of atrociousness yet again. If you doubt it, you haven’t been paying attention.

Was thinking about these tent cities if there’s a hurricane. Will they evacuate them safely? Will they even have plans set up for that in advance. So shameful in every way. Dems better do major investigations on this entire horrific policy.

This is Stephen Miller’s doing. T rumpp simply agrees because he believes brown skin is bad. Orange is much better.

Americans aren’t “allowing this to happen.” Americans are the ones doing it.

Who is going to stop us when we can’t stop ourselves?

Don’t worry. Trump will bring them paper towels and Trump Ice bottled water - at wholesale!

If the kids sleep in 6-hour “shifts”, those 3600 new “hot bunks” can easily accommodate 14,400 little aliens.

Fun Fact: The Tornillo facility is operated by BCFS AKA Baptist Child and Family Services, a faith-based, nonprofit organization. Its President and CEO is Kevin Dinnin, who is paid at an annual salary of $477,799+.

And as a special bonus …

“Nothing to see here, move along…”

“Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain…!”

If nothing is wrong, why do they keep redacting everything, declaring privilege for the supposedly mundane, and refusing access to the press…?

No-one goes to such lengths to hide a “nothing burger”.

A facility administrator told reporters that the main complaint he hears
from children on site is that the tents sometimes get too cold.

“Oh chuckle chuckle…those darn kids, am I right? Right this way, please. Here are two girls who will stop briefly in front of you and tell you they’re fine! Chuckle chuckle…please stay with the group now. Ma’am, don’t open that door. Come along.”

Y’all do remember that the Trump maladministration is trying to get out of the Flores settlement? They may want these beds for families.
