From the CDC: “CDC estimates that nearly 20 million new sexually
transmitted infections occur every year in this country, half among young people ages 15–24” So not 110 million. There’s also a direct positive correlation between the conservativeness of a county (abstinence only “sex-ed,” “sex is dirty / naughty” ethic, lack of access to birth control) and it’s teen pregnancy and STD rate. Condoms do work. So do immunizations (HPV.) And since when do these CPACs even believe in government statistics anyway?
