Just for fun, some of my more frequent labels are father, husband, lover, polyamorous, pagan, bisexual, freak, geek, romantic, loyal, nerd, asshole, libertarian, socialist, open minded and stubborn. The reality is both more normal and stranger than you can picture. For some reason children and animals either like me, or warm to me quickly.

There are too many labels that only partly apply to me. I'm a bundle of contradictions, tend to take up contrary viewpoints sometimes even with myself, and am always questioning. This tends to piss off everyone eventually, because we all have cows too sacred for goring... or so we believe.

I joined this site because I needed a place to vent where there was some small chance that people get where I'm coming from; That no, god damn it, I'm not a troll. I'm seriously asking those questions, making those points. I'm no one's shill.*

* Well, there was that one time at Ren Faire, but that was for a bawdy singing group called "Jolly Beggar" and I'd do it again if I could. I miss you so much, Linda; You're one of the people who would have talked me off the ledge. If you could read this, just know that I am still loved and cared for.
