I am a recently retired (Emeritus) physics professor. I have a life-long interest in Czech-Americans, and plan to resume writing on this topic. My people.bu.edu/website has an interesting diary (age 20) by Blanche Yurka, who was then studying to be an opera singer, but transitioned to becoming a stage and screen actress. Czech it out.
