Zohran Mamdani on His Family’s Experience With Immigration Court and His Plans for ICE in NYC

I better not be waiting for-EVER for Madman Mamdani to institute Shariah law. I’ve had enough disappointments this year.

Don’t worry. Even if he was so inclined to do so, it won’t be until next year…

But a whole lot of the money IS working to brainwash us! THAT’S the reality that needs to be overcome before any Sanders or Mamdani type candidate can actually win a national election. (The country’s inherent misogyny is another major factor.) Neither Bernie nor Zohran have gotten there yet. That is the fight that must continue. Blaming Hillary doesn’t advance the ball in that ongoing struggle.

Zohran starts next week, and he gives reason to believe he will be successful and perhaps, at age 34, in multiple arenas. Born in Uganda he will not sit in the White House, but if he is a successful mayor, which is the definition of “tall order,” he may break the New York Mayor Curse and have a successful next act. Maybe a US Senator. But first things first.

Apropos of nothing, I watched Mayor Mamdani’s swearing-in ceremony on youtube, down in the 1902 City Hall subway station. Following his taking the oath of office, he signed a form and was charged $9, payable in cash on the spot. Fortunately, he had exact change.

No, he got taken out by the DNC and then we got Hillary’s coronation, except, as usual the Democrats failed and Hillary lost. The most hated woman in America lost to a fascist pig. You deal with that. Hillary LOST.

Drink!

It’s OK. You can always move to Iran if Mamdani’s not moving fast enough for you.

I guess you misheard him. He promised a share the wealth law, not sharia law. (They both include share.) I hope you’re not disappointed.

The characterization of FDR was by Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr., after the retired, nonagenarian Justice met the president-elect, shortly before his inauguration. The full quotation was, “a second-class intellect but a first-class temperment.”

Thanks, and corrected. How could I have lapsed like that? Memories lapse. The most respected journalist of the day, Walter Lipman, initially termed Roosevelt a “feather duster.”

One interesting aspect to Roosevelt’s “second class intellect” in that he was a geography savant, which he used on occasion - and correctly - in the Pacific Campaign.

Mayor Mamdani should focus on making the subway, buses, trains in New York City free as he promised. While NYC is a city with an immigrant base, immigration, foreign policy, and threatening arrests of foreign leaders are not his responsibility. He should clean up and deliver security and sanitation services to every New Yorker, the way the disgraced Rudy Giuliani did.
