I’m a sunlight access kind of guy, but you can certainly make the case that OAN is about the farthest thing from a legitimate news organization as one could imagine.

The very real threat that how Social media monetizes their user data.
If under Biden, Dem House and possible Dem Senate, the US Gov. decides that user collected data is personal and can not be share/profited from, just l like ePHI and HIPAA…Zuck and others just lost their revenue streams and would have to turn their sites into paid membership like Netflix. They would crater and greatly contract.
Between now and Jan 21, there is going to be a lot of fig leaves brought out to cover for their misdeeds so they can stand in front of Congress and proclaim that they are doing something to change.

I believe they are worried about being ‘defanged’. Its a national security risk that a foreigner in the name of Rupert Murdock has the power over this county that he does. This state of affairs has gone on for far too long.
