A lot of things happened this weekend. Here are some of them.
The new governor of Virginia’s campaign picked a fight with a high school student on Saturday — even posting the 17-year-old’s photo online — after the student tweeted out a public radio report that the governor’s staff took issue with.
YOUNGKIN …He is exactly what we thought he is… a malovent power-hungry fraud cloaked in “folksy County-gentleman clothes & cliches” tooting on the dog whistle day & night!
Apparently these documents weren’t torn up. It’s interesting that he kept Obama’s letter. I guess it’s the one he left for Rump.
National Archives officials reportedly had to pay a visit to Mar-a-Lago last month to seize papers Donald Trump wrongly took from the White House last year, including letters from Kim Jong Un and Barack Obama. The Washington Post reports that “multiple boxes” were taken away from Trump’s Palm Beach resort during the visit in January. They reportedly contained several documents that should have been handed over to the National Archives under the Presidential Records Act, including what Trump previously described as “love letters” from the North Korean leader and the note Obama left in the White House for Trump in 2017. Trump advisers told the Post that the documents were not taken to prevent them from being scrutinized, but as mementos of Trump’s time as president. Neither the Archives nor Trump commented on the Post report.emphasized text
“A Youngkin campaign strategist told various outlets that the campaign didn’t realize the student in question was a minor.”
Save that quote for copy and paste, it might come in handy before too long.
And nowadays you can always replace the name “Youngkin” with any notable Republican .
Its The Trump thing.
One of my favorite pastimes is making a mental list of deluded prominent GOP pols who think they have a chance to someday become POTUS. It includes:
Chris Christie
Ted Cruz
Marco Rubio
Mike Pence
(Feel free to add other names…:))
Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX)…told host Martha Radditz the statement “pertains to the legitimate protesters that I saw that day.”
So, he’s saying that there were illegitimate protesters there, and the J6C is OK to investigate the illegitimate protesters? I thought the Republican line was that the J6C was itself illegitimate?
Youngkin family seems to have problems understanding what it means to be a minor. Didn’t his minor son try to fraudulently vote not once but twice last November?
Cobra Kai Sensei John Kreese in The Karate Kid: “We do not train to be merciful here. Mercy is for the weak. Here, in the streets, in competition. A man confronts you, he is the enemy. An enemy deserves no mercy.”
The Canadian trucker thing is a big deal. Facebook has allowed its pages to proliferate like with Jan 6. The American fascists and its media are boosting it bigtime. There seems to be international support. It was never grass roots. I expect its disruptions to expand and deepen in Canada and spread into the US.
Younkin’s undersecretary of transportation, Amy Wight, was briefly engaged to my son back when she was talking points writer for Ken Cuccinelli.
When my ex expressed disappointment that the engagement fell through I remarked. “I’m not. I’ve met her mom”.
Youngkin’s underage son tried to vote (twice) in the last election. Youngkin emphasized the son’s age and felt it was a low blow to report on it. Attacking kids? IOKIYAR
