The Yemeni army has expelled al-Qaeda forces from two of the terrorist organization’s main strongholds, reports Reuters. The recapture of the two southern towns of Zinjibar and Jaar represent the army’s largest victory over the insurgents since turmoil began in 2011. At least 20 militants were killed in the fighting, alongside four soldiers and two civilians.
