He’s learned the hard way that these yachkits depreciate rapidly unless you train a firehose of maintenance money on them, then they depreciate slowly. Also, when you try to stiff the yard workers the harbormaster just arrests the yachkit. Literally chained to the doc, and enforced by the coast guard.

Wanted to thank those who are trying to debunk some of these reputed seizures. There’s a lot of hype out there right now that aren’t necessarily facts, and this is just one example of looking for actual confirmation from local officials before posting rumors, etc.

If you can cast your mind back to days of yore, only 20 years ago during the nation-wide no-fly week after the 9/11 attacks happened, Bin Laden’s relatives in the US were escorted to the airport and permitted to board the only civilian planes flying that week, to take them back home to Saudi Arabia. The FBI was permitted to do a perfunctory 15 minute interview of each person before they boarded, with that person knowing that once the 15 minutes was up they were on board the plane and outta there.
