COPENHAGEN (The Borowitz Report)—After rebuffing Donald J. Trump’s hypothetical proposal to purchase Greenland, the government of Denmark has announced that it would be interested in buying the United States instead.

“As we have stated, Greenland is not for sale,” a spokesperson for the Danish government said on Friday. “We have noted, however, that during the Trump regime pretty much everything in the United States, including its government, has most definitely been for sale.”

“Denmark would be interested in purchasing the United States in its entirety, with the exception of its government,” the spokesperson added.

A key provision of the purchase offer, the spokesperson said, would be the relocation of Donald Trump to another country “to be determined,” with Russia and North Korea cited as possible destinations.

If Denmark’s bid for the United States is accepted, the Scandinavian nation has ambitious plans for its new acquisition. “We believe that, by giving the U.S. an educational system and national health care, it could be transformed from a vast land mass into a great nation,” the spokesperson said.

I’d be willing to bet $100 that Hunter voted to investigation the millions of “illegal aliens who voted” that gave Hillary the popular vote victory…

Very few people know this, but the GOP has actually been engaging in rank speculation, based on conjecture and short on the evidence and the law for a good long time now. Moreover, and very few people are aware of this also, the GOP has often investigated groups completely and purely based on rank speculation. Most people are completely unaware of Planned Parenthood, ACORN, the Benghazi Fiasco, Whitewater, Comet Pizza. Who could have known? Nobody knows…

These traitorously corrupt members all of The Republican Crime Syndicate have done a pretty good job of taking over our country. That’s where we’re at. A coup was executed, long slowmotion with a huge crescendo in the last several years to jerk the wheel and commandeer. So now they try to make it stick. This country is too messy, too nutty to manage. They will either fail sooner w/people getting off their butts as they realize, “Ya know, this is NOT normal politics, Martha.”; or it will fail in 5 or 10 more miserable years under the unsustainable weight of its own corruption. Let us make an effort to end this wretched parallel universe we’re mired in sooner rather than later.

It’s 600 jobs in an impoverished area of KY, 40% ownership by a Russian aluminum industry oligarch, and there are Dems in the state on board with it. It’s the reason why Moscow Mitch has let nothing come up for a vote that is about Russian sanctions or anything that would interfere with Russia’s plans for attacking the 2020 vote.
