I have been wondering about this since February. I know I’m not the only one. Asleep at the wheel MSM?
I am not a medical expert but if you give me couple of minutes to put together a press briefing I’m sure I could come up with some stupid shit to pontificate about…
Re-exposing people known to have had it would be the gold standard but presents ethical problems. Observing whether any of the health care people who are documented to have had it come down with it again if they return to work is another.
I’m no medical expert, but dude - it’s common sense. Think for yourself.
Ah, there you are, had to share this with you:
No, just means that we don’t have enough scientific evidence to say one way or the other. So the WHO is just warning countries not to jump to conclusions and do a mass human experiment
Ooooooooooohhhhhh!!! Hold @demosthenes59’s glass of clorox…
What does the WHO say about people who have bleach or Lysol in their bloodstream? Are they immune from getting it again?
Asking for a friend…
Thanks! Very cool.
I tentatively agree, but I’m no expert on the field so I don’t want to jump to conclusions.
Like say, Florida.
I prefer a refreshing drink of something lemony scented like furniture polish.
Come in for the peanuts, stay for line dancing with bushy-tailed chicks!
Aren’t they expecting you at Cheers?
I’m not any kind of expert but I don’t see how it can if immunity doesn’t exist. I’m not saying it doesn’t - we don’t know. But how could a herd immunity be built if there isn’t any immunity that results from having had COVID?
It has been my understanding that “herd immunity” from lots of diseases comes from widespread vaccination rather than from exposure to the disease itself.
Measles comes to mind as a common example.
Who (pun intended) cares? Donnie won’t because WE (that’s the royal one) didn’t come up with the idea and he has all of the greatest ideas.
We are still early in all of this, but you just KNOW that Donnie will do something stupid just so the World Health Organization (without U.S. funding) can’t be correct.
My cynicism is even starting to worry me.
Also, there’s no herd immunity with the flu … Sweden is currently trying a herd immunity strategy. I don’t think it’s working very well yet.
Yes, I particularly liked the “protestors” who didn’t get out of their cars!!
