Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) has raised $13 million in less than four months (from mid January 2012 to last week), and has $4.8 million in the bank as the recall election for the state’s governorship set for June 5th begins in earnest, according to his campaign. Walker has raised and spent most of $25 million since January 1st of 2011. The governor’s campaign spent millions on television ads propping up his approval rating and defending the anti-union law he and the GOP-led legislature passed last year, arguing the measures were necessary to curtail state and local budgets.
