If you buy Molson’s it has been brewed in the US for decades, for years by Minhas Brewing in Monroe, WI. But then Molson became part of the Molson Coors conglomerate and along with AB InBev, they took over just about anything that isn’t a craft/microbrewery. Once they began their takeovers, they plotted to keep other breweries from selling their beer in Canada, no tariffs needed.
Minhas started as a Canadian brewer, They came to the States and bought the Joseph Huber brewing company (Old Style) and were Minhas Molson. I toured the Brewery around 2008 or so and saw the Molson line. AI adamantly tells you that never happened, of course.
Molson in the US, for the most part, is brewed in Milwaukee now.
