Former House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) is moving his family from Wisconsin to Washington, D.C. to live in a rented home in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, Politico reported.

To continue working on behalf of the people of Wisconsin. He’s always been such an unselfish sort.
The $174k reps. make doesn’t go far in expensive DC when you have to keep a home in your district as well, but now that he’s making millions as a lobbyist he can afford to live in DC, that’s why.
Old saying: Follow the money.
My guess is he’s either going to run a Georgetown soup kitchen for wayward ex-GOP members of congress who’ve fallen on hard times or accept an 8 figure salary job working for a top-tier K Street lobbying firm. Whaddaya think? I’m leaning towards soup kitchen, myself.
Paul Ryan is now special… In that he is now working for special interests groups, the very people he was purportedly working against when he was representing Real America, the section of the country whose votes count more… literally

I’d like to think the sideways looks, public shunning and shaming in the local grocery store has made Wisconsin too hot to handle. He supports stealing babies from Christian refugees; I just have to believe he’s going to get blowback in the real world.
Would not be surprised if Campbell, Hunt’s, and other soup companies weren’t in fact working with Paul Ryan for more tax cuts and deregulations.

Where will the kids be enrolled? The oldest may be ready for college by now, but the younger ones are still in high school. At that age it’s hard to have a social life when you spend your weekends travelling between homes.
