There is a great deal of conflicting information as to whether surviving the disease confers immunity to contracting it again, and if it does for how long. The scientific community is not in agreement on this.

When it abates and we go back to normal work and social practices it will come roaring back, absent a perfected vaccine. Then we’ll have a twice in a century disaster.

Thomas B. Modly is a product of the Reagan-era shift in the Navy. In the old days, officers were non-political, then suddenly well over 90% were overt Republicans, get along go along. Listening to the recording of his speech, even ignoring the gratuitous Biden-bashing, you get the impression this Modlly is an evil Eddie Haskell.

This is already a top concern in China, which is trying to get production back up at a time of no demand. There is a large debt overhang, the costs of servicing, even before the crisis had already ballooned to 10% of GDP. Nothing I hear from the Trumpsters even mentions Round 2 and Round 3 of this.
I always liked Eddie. He was the only real character on the show.

Under Article II, section 1, and the statute implementing it, 3 USC 1, the date of selecting Presidential Electors is set as the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November. There is no clause in either allowing for a delay for any reason absent an Act of Congress. It should be remembered that this provision has never been altered not even during the Civil War. Lincoln’s opponent said if elected he would negotiate a deal with the rebels. Lincoln said that of that was the result that was the result.
