Fortunately, logging companies have been given the go-ahead to chop down the Sequoia National Forest. It’s interesting in itself that Americans class forests as the purview of the “agriculture” department and use such farming terms as “harvest”, “alley cropping”, “non-timber forest products of commercial value”. Forests are worth a lot more than the wood or berries. They are complex systems that protect all of our lives.
Call me crazy, call me foolish, but the restoration of “checks and balances” is a damned good (and necessary) thing for the preservation of the nation.

Impeachment trials involve lawyers and can be delayed. They can also be portrayed as “partisan.”
Impeachment as a tool in the Constitution is dead, just like the Civil War era voting rights amendments. Just get the evidence and blast it out everywhere.
