‘I’ll Get Impeached’ The White House Counsel’s Office is preparing key Trump administration political appointees for the possibility of having to respond to congressional oversight from Democrats, the Washington Post reported on Monday afternoon, a sign that at least some around Trump recognize Democrats may well take back control of the House from Republicans this…

“You gotta win the midterms. Because if we don’t win the midterms, it’s just gonna be — I mean, they’ll find a reason to impeach me,” Trump told Republicans in January. “I’ll get impeached.”

And yet, the chances of conviction are nearly non-existent, so what is he whining about?

One more impeachment and his record of being impeached will likely stand forever! “GREATEST PRESIDENT EVER!!!” /s

It is always about him. Never a whisper of handing the keys and continuity over to Vance. Nothing, el zipporooni. But using the word continuity in conjunction with Donnie is quaint and really very humorous.

While one White House official, speaking anonymously to the Post, said that the recent guidance on congressional oversight is “nothing new” and something the administration has been doing “to ensure oversight compliance and that best practices

Whoever that official is, funny guy.

“We should probably do some oversight,” Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO), a member of the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee

Oh hey! We are supposed to be doing that thingie. You know it, right on the tip of the tongue.

Well I certainly hope so donald. And convicted this time
Third time’s the charm donnie boy
And donnie, you have 34 felony convictions for fraud to answer for. I do hope a hefty fine is involved. Even better would be a year in prison but i doubt that will happen.. and felony convictions may ruin your ability to vote.

He’s as flattered by a bogus peace prize as he is injured by an impeachment with no teeth. His reality is totally emotional.

I mean, they’ll find a reason to impeach me

How about 100 reasons? (Holding it down to a nice round number.)

Or we could throw the whole phone book at him.

Find a reason? Find a reason? They won’t have to look far, they have a fucking smorgasbord of reasons to impeach and lock up his orange ass.

All official communications are to be conducted via Signal.

Does he have more or less to lose now than he did in 2024?

Does he have more or less power now than he did in 2024?

There will be no midterms if he can help it. That is all.

Q: Did he eat it? One has to ask these days of cabinet officials.

This is perhaps the most perfect and succinct description of his personality as I’ve seen. Well done!

Part of that prep work includes advising Trump administration officials to be mindful of what they are putting in written communications.

Augmented by special courses in How To Wink, hosted by Sarah Palin, and Alleyways: Good Places To Meet?

concerns about Democrats winning back the lower chamber in November is at the heart

God forbid Republicans have to do something popular.

Nope. The 14th protects the right to vote, not a right to racial representation.

Gerrymandering is our sin.

I’m less interested in impeachment than I am Congress finding proof, and disclosing, proof of all of the ways we’ve been betrayed. An impeachment trial would just get in the way of trying the Trump administration on social media. Find the facts and blast it out on Tik Tok
