When The Allegations Beat You

From r/thebulwark on Reddit:

This is actually good news. I have spent time personally with Pam Bondi. She is dumb as a box of hammers. I was astounded by her lack of knowledge and expertise, in even the most simple of matters. Borderline troglodyte. Her entire career has been somewhat of a joke. I can’t see Trump pulling off his revenge agenda with somebody this monstrously stupid at the helm. Really the best we could have hoped for.

Although somebody also suggested that she’ll spend all her time on Fox News and the DAG will run the show.

At the end of day, Gaetz chose teenage parties over leading the DOJ.

I don’t give a fuck that Gaetz resigned.
I don’t give a fuck that Gaetz dropped out.
I want to see that fucking report.
I want Gaetz prosecuted and incarcerated.
I suggest we call every Democrat on that committee and fucking wear them down.

Congress might have won the prize of getting him back.

It seems to be up to DeSantis.

Has a certain smell that reminds me of walking into one of those blue boxes along the bike path.

DeSatin can give a middle finger to the senate by appointing him to Rubio’s seat.
But if DeSatin wants to run for it in two years when he’s term limited…

Now it’s Pam Bondi. The incoming dump administration is a grift that keeps on grifting.

I’m not sure Gaetz wants to miss the winter formal after-parties.

She sure did. She exercised her prosecutorial discretion and looks like it has paid big dividends.

I have a sense that those in the know will be releasing the report somehow, someway. Gaetz is a revolting POS, his behavior so disgusting, that decent people aren’t going to miss an opportunity to shame him as publicly as possible. Plus he doesn’t just step on others toes, he pisses on them, and people don’t forget that.

Stunning? I should be so lucky.

He can commiserate with Ryan Walters, the school super in Oklahoma, who mandated all those special edition bibles in schools.

That would take a real leap of faith. It’s not easy to get a tiler on short notice. And until the tile is done, the painting can’t be done, the shower glass can’t be installed, the new toilet can’t be installed, the water can’t be turned back on. Oy.

And now it’s Pam Bondi…another Floridian, for AG.
She looks great as Gaetz preceded her.
True MAGA person; election denier…filing numerous failed cases.

…sigh…

The circus continues…

From abcnews…

Since March of 2023, Donald Trump has been indicted by grand juries on six occasions in four criminal cases, was convicted by a jury once, took one mug shot, was ordered to pay millions in damages by two civil juries, and was found liable for civil fraud by a Manhattan judge.
… … … … … …
March of 2023 to March of 2024= 12 months. March to November is 8 months. That’s 20 months. One trial resulted in conviction on 34 felonies. It’s a state level conviction. So DoJ waddabout the other three criminal indictments? Heh? Do we just ignore them while the criminal is in office or do you guys get your shit together? 20 months of dicking around.

Trying to figure out the worst and most odious lawyer that Trump could nominate for AG, and I keep coming back to Giuliani. Anyone else?

Also, Trump’s supporters have been preparing a long time for this. Bondi’s AFPI has long planned ways to collect many scalps. Right now Trump’s appointments are amusingly bad, but once people start being hurt without due process not so funny any more.

I think outright killing of Americans will be minimal, but the innovation of “struggle session” developed during China’s cultural revolution does not seem remote. They have to do something at all those new private prisons and internment camps they plan to build, and you could combine it with some reality tv or wrestling formats.

Interestingly, the reporter of a Hong Kong-based political journal released the classified official statistics, according to which nearly two million Chinese were killed and another 125 million were either persecuted or “struggled against”(subjected to “struggle sessions”) as a result of the state-sponsored killings and atrocities committed during the Cultural Revolution (Cheng Min, 1996: 21-22).
