Hillary’s fault.
looks like things are happening to ratchet this down a few notches & dissipate some of the pressure - but not a resolution of the problem - a pause to simply bring it to a boil again soon ?
Invasions of Poland have tended not to work out so well.
This article reminds me that of the best result of the 2020 election and Biden being president is that Vladimir Putin is no longer the most powerful man in America.
From the article:
" The asylum seekers are mostly Kurds from Iraq, fleeing persecution and poverty."
That is these refugees are mostly the result of Putin’s puppet, Donald Trump, abandoning America’s ally the Kurds so as to push Turkey away from NATO into the arms of Russia.
What am I talking about?
The Trump administration in October of 2019 was part of a deal, in fact was responsible for a deal, that was intended to make allies of two historic enemies, Russia and Turkey, by America abandoning its most courageous and faithful ally in the region, the Kurds. Remember Czar is Russian for Caesar, the first ruler to take the title Czar, Ivan the first, took the title Czar after marrying the last surviving family member of the Byzantine empire claiming Russia to the heir to the Eastern Roman Empire.
Ivan’s real aim, and every Russian ruler since, Czar, Communist or whatever Putin is, has dreamed of controlling Constantinople/Istanbul and the straights from the Black Sea to the Mediterranean Sea. For the last 500 years the Ottoman Empire and now Turkey have blocked this goal of Russia which, if Russia ever did gain control of the straights linking the Black and Mediterranean Seas would be a world changing event.
Turkey, would and did shoot down Russian planes before Trump, was pushed by Trump to form an alliance with Russia. In fact right up to Trump leaving office, he was trying to push through economic and military sanctions against Turkey that would have forced it out of NATO and into an alliance with its historic enemy, making Turkey a puppet of Russia.
Biden’s first act as president, the blood from the insurrection was not even dry, had a joint naval exercise performed with Turkey to bring Turkey back the NATO fold and foil Putin/Trump scheme to make NATO Turkey a puppet of Russia.
As the article said, most of the refugees in Belarus are Kurds who had been allied with America until Putin through his puppet Donald Trump got America to abandon the Kurds allowing Putin to make them pawns in this current game in Belarus.
Few people who have studied history are big fans of the Kurds. There is a reason why they are the biggest ethnicity in the world without their own state. In fact the only real goal that took into account the people living there at the time when France and England divided up the Ottoman Empire after WW1 was to make sure the Kurds would never have their own state by dividing the Kurds into several different colonial territories was that should those territories every become independent nowhere would Kurds be a majority. But the Kurds do not deserve this.
So the question to me about what should be done?
More so than the chess game being played out by Belarus’s and Russia’s dictators, is what obligation does the West owe these refugees who are where they are because after being a loyal ally of the West, America put in power a President who everyone paying attention knew was merely a puppet of Vladimir Putin.
