Look at what the troops are doing to the economy of DC and Chicago aside from all the rest. If Mamdani can keep Trump from sending in hordes of boarder patrol and ICE agents it’s well worth some charm and flattery. Mamdani is not stupid – keeping his eyes on the prize (a better NY) and how to best get there. Have the Trump family build the new affordable housing – but get it built.
