Granted, GBN is a ridiculous tabloid level clownshow, but this exact same thing is playing out in other clips people are sharing on twitter for places like Sky News (which is still a zombie network…they all are…but much better than GBN) etc.

The thing about Republicans is that it takes a lot of extremely bad things by other Republicans to get them to no longer be full-on supporters of the shit, and even then it is just a handful, with only one or two actually fighting for what it right. There is something terribly wrong with these people.

And btw, that female British reporter lamenting about there not being any “happy weather” is about as mindless as it gets. The UK has largely missed out on extreme heatwaves but that’s changing. Everyone in England will own an air conditioner before this is over as will everyone throughout Europe. Of course using up all that extra energy will heat the planet even more. Just one more feedback loop kicking in.

I’d be disappointed if so. Byrne wouldn’t have much to relate other than the crazy-ass meeting that we’ve already heard about in depth. Besides? I’m not convinced any billionaire feels compelled to testify about anything-- based on patriotic duty.

Joe Scarborough mentions on a daily basis that most all of the witnesses were Trump supporters who stood with him after all the other awful things he did yet drew the line at his coup attempt. Joe thinks the fact that the people who gave the most damming testimony were some of his most ardent supporters gives the committee’s work even more credibility. No one can credibly accuse these witnesses of being out to get Trump and that gives their testimony far more weight than if it were coming from our side. I hate that they chose to support him at all, but I do appreciate greatly that they’ve come forward to tell what they know. Their testimony may be what helps us “keep it.” I hope they do as my parents used to say, “Now, go forth and sin no more.”

From the interviews he conducted with scientist and government officials Dyer came to an alarming conclusion: the lack of food production caused by the earths rising temperatures will create massive death and incredible chaos. “Al Gore sugar coats the situation,” said Dyer. “If we don’t stop the global temperature from rising, it’s going to get bloody as the world fights for food.” Dyer’s book, “Climate Wars: The Fight for Survival as the World Heats,” examines this potential global conflict. According to Dyer, for every degree Celsius the temperature rises, the earth as a whole, looses 10 percent of its food production. Though food production isn’t affected evenly across the planet, it is still a problem that needs to be solved. Dyer says that many countries that have the power to better the environment have a “lifeboat” mentality. According to Dyeer a lifeboat can only hold a designated number of people, and countries can only have a maximum population, so it’s going to get ugly when you have to keep people out to save yourself.
