“I thought when it came to election meddling that Donald and I were exclusive,” an emotional Putin told reporters. “This feels like a betrayal.”
Putin said that when he read the call summary of the phone conversation between Trump and the President of Ukraine, “I could not believe my eyes. It was just like the conversations Donald and I used to have.”

I would embed this timeline in the long-running natural gas disputes with Russia, and specifically Gazprom. Much of Russian (and other countries’) gas flowing to Europe had to pass through Ukraine and Ukraine was dependent on Russia for its gas supplies. Thus, gas had become a focal issue in 2013. Today, Russia has made great efforts to bypass Ukraine.

Remember the “Asset” that was so highly & vitally placed in Moscow - could read papers on Putin’s desk …
Now, with all of the utter disregard for the security clearance process in the Trump administration that has been made public, would it not seem to be entirely plausible that Putin has one or more “assets” in equally high value vantage points? Plausibility becomes almost a certainty if there is a possibility that Trump is compromised. Enabling, facilitating, refraining from preventing, neglecting to ensure oversight, willfully leaving the door unlocked … call it what ever you want… and at this point it does not seem all that far fetched that if Trump wishes to say something to Putin … he just speaks out loud in a normal voice … as if he was asking an aid to bring him a cup of coffee.

You would have never known any of this if you watched FOX last night.
I watched less than 5-minutes of Laura Ingraham last night and couldn’t stand any more. She quickly (very quickly) presented the key text including the ‘favor’ ask, but without taking a breath, interpreted the whole thing as just meaningless.
It reminded me of how a teenager zooms through an explanation of how the car got wrecked without acknowledging that a fourteen year old shouldn’t have taken the car anyway.
When she promoted Jim 'I forgot my suit had a coat’ Jordan was to appear, I jumped to CNN and then back to Lawrence.
Once again, those who watch FOX prime time, and might be reasonably intelligent, along with the deplorables, are not getting any sense of the story - at all.
The battle is just beginning to win this war.
